Born around 2003, Delvindelux is a result of Tony Gordins(Guitar,Vocals) compositions based upon the connection with his long time partners Samuel Fraga(Drums/Guitar/Vocals); Ze Nigro (Keyboards/Bass/Vocals) and Pedro Strelkow(Bass/Vocals)
Tony Gordin began composing at the beginning of the year 2000. The lyrics reflect the time he lived in Los Angeles and his return to chaotic São Paulo(his native city), narrating daily events, relationships and reflections on urban life. Eventually, Samuel, Pedro and Ze Nigro embraced the ideas thanks to their similar concepts,musical synchronicity and strong friendship.
Delvin is short for the verb 'to delve"in its present continuous state, meaning 'to search',or 'look for' and delux has two meanings, 'the light' or "in a luxurious way'(not material luxury,spiritual luxury) or "style". So , Delvin is an alter ego trying to pull thru lifes situations,and trying to do it in a positive style approach, constantly in search of the light, or illumination, the natural essence of the group.
The musical diversity which belongs to each individual member creates the unique sound which is Delvindelux, a mixture of rock n roll, disco, elctrorock and funky beats, creating an impression which brands the mind of the listener, and hopefully makes him/her remember the good time he /she had attending one of their concerts if that should be the case,and taking the experience with them.
Their first record has just been released in january 2014, was produced by the entire band with participations of Junior Boca, Fernando Catatau and Dustan Gallas , all fantastic artists, producers and songwriters themselves, part of the new generation of Brazilian
